    R1 upright setting

The Taylormade R1 driver has a neutral and upright setting for the shaft. How much different is the upright and why would I use it ?

    Re: R1 upright setting

I thought it also had a flat setting too. But from my understanding, the upright setting would change the lie angle from 61 degrees to 62.5 degrees. You would use this setting if you are really tall/have an upright swing plane but the lie angle on a driver has very minimal impact on the flight of the ball.
